After years of in-fighting and beef between its members, Three 6 Mafia is announcing that they’ll be reuniting for a tour.

On Friday (August 16), the Memphis group’s co-founders Juicy J and DJ Paul announced they’ll be hitting the road and calling their tour The Return Of Three 6 Mafia.

According to the poster they shared, Juicy and Paul will be joined by Gangsta Boo and Crunchy Black, while special guests will include longtime Mafia affiliates Project Pat, Lil Wyte and La Chat, as well as DMX and interestingly Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, with whom Three 6 had a large beef with during the early-to-mid 1990s.

“THREE 6 MAFIA REUNION TOUR!” Juicy J wrote in the caption of his Instagram post. “Tickets on sale next Friday August 23rd.”

  1. Triple Six fans lost their minds after hearing the news.

  2. DJ Paul has long been calling for a reunion of the rap group. Last October, during an interview with Zane Lowe and Beats 1 Radio, Juicy J revealed the possibility for a reunion, “I mean, I love those guys when we started something, you know? I would love to do something with those guys, man,” he said. “We just need to sit down, you know, figure it out. But it’s all good, no bad blood, all love. I love all those guys.”

Paul apparently heard the comment and replied on Instagram shortly afterward writing, “@juicyj Then What We Waiting For? Any Longer Then We’ll Have To Call This Album #TheEnd Aswell Love Bro #Mafia Ya!!!! #SeniorCitizenStudios.”

The full list cities and dates for the tour have not yet been released, however the poster Juicy and Paul shared reveals the first date will be October 12 in Southaven, Mississippi.

Unfortunately, since their hiatus as a group, original members Lord Infamous and Koopsta Knicca passed away in 2013 and 2015, respectively. It’ll be interesting to see if they are tributed during the forthcoming tour.
