Boosie BadAzz is setting the record straight after unverified reports spread that the Louisiana rapper got into a supposed altercation with George Zimmerman.
The rumor surfaced online a few days ago and has since spread like wildfire across social media. The story alleged that Boosie got into “a very violent fight” with Zimmerman at a Walmart in Miami.
“Lil Boosie was in prison during the entire [sic] Treyvone Martin case but was informed about the trial by his manager who believed George Zimmerman ‘got Away with murdering a young innocent child,’” one of the false reports read. “After seeing each other at Wal-Mart in Miami, Lil Boosie allegedly knocked Zimmerman ‘out cold’ and was rushed to a hospital after he began suffering a seizure.”
Boosie took to Instagram where he swiftly debunked the fake story in a “service announcement” posted to his social page on Wednesday (Jan. 15).
“I [have] never seen George Zimmerman in my life but on TV. This is a lie,” he said in the video. “Let’s talk the truth. Leave me alone. I never seen George Zimmerman in my life. George don’t know me. Talking ’bout I did something to him at Walmart. That’s a lie!”
But since he was on the topic of Walmart, Boosie made sure to plug his new product that is about to hit the shelves: his brand of Master P’s Rap Noodles. The noodles will be in Walmart this Friday (Jan. 17) and Boosie declared they’re “the best noodles you ever tasted the world.”
This latest social media fiasco comes after Boosie caught some heat online from Black Greeks after he wore a Kappa Alpha Psi sweater to an NBA game last week.
