Most people would be hard-pressed to argue that anyone has had a bigger impact on the modern musical landscape than Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter

At just 16 years old, the Houston native captivated fans as the lead singer of Destiny’s Child before she decided to embark on a solo career in 2003. 

Fast forward 17 years later, Beyoncé has cemented her legacy as one of the greatest and most decorated performers. She has blessed the culture with a multitude of iconic moments that will live on in music history. 

Ahead of this year’s 20th annual celebration of the BET Awards, we’re looking back at some of Beyoncé’s most unforgettable moments over the years.
