Mase Named Pastor At Atlanta Church

The Harlem rapper is returning to the pulpit.

Mase famously left hip hop back in 1999 to become a pastor, and now, he’s returning to the pulpit at a church in Atlanta.

The Harlem rapper’s latest endeavor was announced in a video posted by Atlanta’s Gathering Oasis church.

“I really see this generation being turned back to God’s hands,” Mase said during a conversation midway through the video.

“I think there’s been a major challenge with the city, like being able to direct people back to God and I really welcome the challenge.”
