Since news broke that DMX was rushed to the hospital in “grave condition” on Saturday (April 3) after suffering a heart attack reportedly triggered by a drug overdose, celebrities from the music industry and beyond have been praying for his recovery.

The legendary rapper is currently on life support at White Plains Hospital in New Jersey, according to Rolling Stone. X’s attorney Murray Richman had told PIX11 News on Saturday afternoon that the rapper had been taken off life support and was breathing on his own, but later clarified to Rolling Stone that he was “given wrong information” and that X remains on life support as of Saturday night.

Among those who took to social media to show support include Snoop Dogg (who faced off against X in a Verzuz battle last year), Missy Elliott, Ja Rule, Rick Ross, Gabrielle Union, and more. Many are sharing memories of the rapper, born Earl Simmons, and noting the profound impact he has had.
