Chris Brown: No Interviews in 2012

Chris Brown: No interviews in 2012. Plus: What dirty habit is Rihanna giving up for the new year?

Chris Brown and Rihanna are both determined to make 2012 a different experience than last year (no, that doesn't mean they plan to spend it together). Both stars expressed resolve to adopt healthier habits in the new year.

For temper-prone Brown, that means avoiding the media. The rapper has vowed to stay away from interviews for at least 12 months, a resolution perhaps stemming from his disastrous appearance on Good Morning America last year. “We’re not trying to be rude, selfish or disrespectful to anyone in any way," said Breezy's manager, Tina Davis, in Billboard. "If people are going to judge anything, judge him for his talent.”

Or, maybe he's just tired of being asked the same questions over and over again?

Meanwhile, his former lover (or, is she?) Rihanna has more ambitious goals. The Bajan beauty — who hit milestone after milestone in 2011 — actually wants to take her career a step further and make even more dough in 2012. If that's not enough to reach for, she also is hoping to find a new man and kick her cigarette habit. "Fyi, we gotta find me somebody to kiss @ midnight by next NYE!!!!" she tweeted, before implying that smooching her friend Melissa didn't quite cut it.

Now if she could just find a way to cram 30 hours in a day, she just may have a chance.
