Cops Called to Katherine Jackson's House

Local police respond to claim of domestic disturbance.

Published July 23, 2012

The mystery surrounding Katherine Jackson's whereabouts and condition deepen this afternoon as cops have been called to her residence following a domestic disturbance claim.

TMZ reports that deputies from the Lost Hills Sheriff's Station reported to the 82-year-old Jackson family matriarch's Calabasas, California home after an unnamed family member accused another party at the scene of physical abuse.

The deputies took a report, but no arrests were made and no names have been released.

This latest incident comes less than 24 hours after Katherine Jackson reportedly told police she is "fine" and resting in Arizona, and not missing as reported by her nephew Trent and granddaughter Paris Jackson.

14-year-old Paris, the eldest daughter of late pop legend Michael Jackson, raised suspicion about her grandmother's well-being after she was denied contact with her for over one week. Jermaine Jackson denied Paris' claim shortly after, tweeting that "no one is being 'blocked' from speaking with Mother." He added that Katherine's children have simply been following doctor's orders to give her rest and keep her from stress.

A feud has reportedly been brewing between Paris Jackson and her father's siblings, who she believes are not looking out for Katherine's best interests. Insiders believe the discord is over the management of Michael Jackson's estate, currently under the control of his lawyers and Katherine. The late singer's will clearly dictates his entire fortune goes first to his mother and, following her death, to his three children, leaving out his siblings and other family members.

It is not confirmed if today's incident is related to the missing person report filed this past weekend. is your #1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
