Beyoncé Knowles is now looking to add another title to her multifaceted celeb belt: documentary director.

The Los Angeles Times
is reporting that Beyoncé’s reps have been shopping a nonfiction movie to Hollywood studios about the icon’s life and career.

Sources close to the project say the film, much in the style of Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry documentaries previously released, will be a mix of music and snapshots from the singer’s personal life combining concert footage and confessional interviews. But unlike those other singer spotlighted films, Knowles will be taking greater control behind the camera. Not only will she star in the project, but Beyoncé will also direct it and serve as producer.

The baddest chick in the game sure has plenty to share with Team Bey from giving birth to Blue Ivy, to splitting with her longtime manager and dad Mathew Knowles to living the fabulous life with husband Jay-Z, mom Tina and sister Solange is your #1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
