Bobby Brown implied his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has regained consciousness after nearly three months on life support, TMZ reports.
"Bobbi is awake," the singer told a supportive crowd at a concert in Dallas, Texas on Saturday (Aril 18). "She's watching me," he added cryptically, leading fans to wonder if the R&B singer is referring to her condition medically or spiritually.
The 22-year-old music scion's grandmother Cissy Houston gave a more straightforward update about her condition last month. "We've moved her to a place for rehabilitation," she said. "And you know, still not a great deal of hope. [We're] still praying."
Reports about Bobbi Kristina's condition have varied, depending on the family member providing the update. While some members say there is little hope of her regaining brain function, others — such as Brown's nephew — have implied that she is "progressing."
Brown was taken out of a medically-induced coma in February but remains on life support. She has been hospitalized since Jan. 31, when she was found face down and unconscious in her bathtub nearly three years to the date her mother Whitney Houston died under eerily similar conditions.
