Drake Nominates Beyoncé for ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Lil Wayne dumps water on Drizzy during tour stop in Pittsburgh; OVO honcho calls out Mrs. Carter to be next.

Drake's the latest celebrity to be doused with ice cold water and thinks that Beyoncé should be next.

On stage during the Pittsburgh stop of the Drake vs. Lil Wayne Tour on Sunday night (Aug. 17), the "0 to 100" emcee took his turn for charity after being called out for the The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by fellow Young Money member Tyga, NBA guard Brandon Jennings and NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick

This latest viral sensation that's been taking over social media isn't pointless like so many of those of the past, however — remember the cinnamon challenge? Its goal is to raise money for a research for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease. ALS effects up to 30,000 Americans at any given time and researchers are finding it is developing at twice the usual rate among Gulf War veterans.

The ice bucket challenge has welcomed the likes of Justin BieberChris Brown, even the talk show queen Oprah.

Water-throwing duties for Drizzy's challenge went to none other than his tour-mate Weezy.

Before he was doused, Drake nominated Queen Bey to take part, with thouands of his fans as his witnesses.

Over the weekend, the list of participating celebrities grew even more, with Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Lopez joining in on the fun.
