Yup, Young Thug is serious. 

After telling DJ Whoo Kid last month that he was going to name his new album Carter 6, Thugga took to his Instagram account Tuesday to prove he wasn't bluffing. Thug posted the project's cover artwork — of himself seemingly naked — with the caption, "#c6otw 4/17."

That means, he'll come out with the Carter 6 before Lil Wayne ever drops Tha Carter V. The move comes amid reports that Weezy was moving his lawsuit against Birdman to New Orleans.

Wayne's daughter, Reginae Carter, took to her Twitter account last month to express her disgust with Thug actually going forward with name Carter 6 for his new batch of music.

"Is he trying to be funny with this Carter6 [s---]? Cause it's pretty childish to me!" she tweeted. "Try again if you're even trying to get on my fathers level. Listen. I usually stay in a child's place but that's my father and I'll stick up for him no matter what! It was not to be disrespectful."
