The 28-year-old singer gives a tribute to the city that raised her (Haines City, FL. in Polk County) through a personal narrative about the family and friends she cherishes in her life. The song samples Tears for Fears’ “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” which is famously heard on Nas’ “Rule” featuring Amerie off 2001’s Stillmatic.

This year, Sevyn teamed up with Chris Brown for “Don’t Kill The Fun” that will appear on the album. You can also anticipate a collaboration between her and August Alsina too.

“4th Street” is available on iTunes now.  Listen to it here.
