Migos, Rich The Kid, not here for impromptu history lesson.

When the club is lit and you hit your dab, how often do you think about it's origins?

We'll wait.

Actually, it doesn't matter, because according to Bow Wow or Shad Moss or the dabologist (whichever he goes by) you're not thinking about it enough.

This morning, the rapper hit up social media to deliver a history lesson on dabbing and why its so important that we learn it.

We're not sure who exactly inquired about its roots, as if it came from some ritualistic expression passed down from generations, but  it was important enough for Bow Wow, I guess it's important enough for us?

Twitter dragged the musician for his story deeply rooted in his love  of mary jane accusing him of being inebriated during the taping.

Responsible for helping popularize the Dab, Rich the Kid out of Atlanta and Migos couldn't contain their surprise.

"Bow Wow stfu cuz that is NOT where the dab came from! F**** clown," one tweet read.

And it didn't stop there. The drag was real. Too real for this pup.

We may not be experts on the dab, but Bow Wow should probably stick to what he knows.

What that is exactly, we're still deciding. is your No. 1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
