Rae Sremmurd Busts Shots at Hot 97's Ebro in a 20-Minute Freestyle Reply

Don't ever tell them they can't go off the dome.

There’s no doubt Rae Sremmurd has hits upon hits. The number of times they’ve broken onto the Billboard charts is impressive. Some, however, don’t think their freestyle game is as on point.

That’s at least what Ebro thinks. During a recent interview with the staff at Complex Magazine and while discussing why the media outlet put SremmLife at number 3 on their best albums of the year list, the Hot 97 show's host said the Mississippi duo lack the ability to freestyle. He also says he believes they didn’t write their album either. Well, that kicked the bees nest with the Ear Drummers recording artists. They recently appeared on TimWestwoodTV and not only did they disagree, they had a 20-minute rebuttal in the chamber.

“Catch me overseas, I’m dropping Euros, Euros,” rapped Swae Lee. “I ain’t never gave a f**k about a Ebro, Ebro,” Slim Jimmy then added in, “Ebro, Ebro – f**k you. I’m super cold, subzero, zero. Hating like the flow ain’t lethal, lethal.”

*Shots fired back*

Rae Sremmurd also replied to Ebro’s comments during the interview. They say the money speaks louder than his opinion.

“We ain’t worried about it,” Swae said when asked about Ebro’s comments. “People want to express their opinions. It’s his opinion. Express your opinion. We’re gonna keep banging out. We’re just making music... We ain’t even gotta address [his assertion we didn’t write the LP]. You can look on the album and see who writes the tracks. Do that, but don’t put no fake facts out there.”
