On Tuesday, Under Armour’s CEO and Chairman Kevin Plankengaged in an exclusive interview with CNBC’s Scott Wapner. Although the CEO discussed several topics revolving around business, his favorable comments about the president caused serious backlash on Twitter.
In the interview, Plank said that Donald Trump’s leadership as a businessman was “a real asset for the country.”
The sportswear company CEO praised Trump for his ability to “build things” and “make bold decisions and be really decisive.”
Plank added the he is personally “a big fan of people that operate in the world of ‘publish and iterate’ versus ‘think, think, think, think, think.’ So there’s a lot that I respect there.”
