These Witnesses From The Las Vegas Massacre Say There Were Multiple Shooters Coming From Different Directions

But here's what officials say in response to the speculation and social media rumors.

After the Las Vegas mass shooting, which resulted in the death of at least 58 and the injuring of over 400, witnesses and survivors have started to speculate about multiple shooters.

Although the claims of multiple shooters have been heavily refuted by Las Vegas authorities, some have come forward and suggested there were additional shooters on the ground.

  • In an interview with CNN, a woman said she remembered shots coming from someone on foot

In the clip, which was taken from CNN and posted by The Shade Room, the unidentified woman explained why she felt Stephen Paddock was not the only shooter.

  • On twitter, other people claiming to have been present also alleged shots came from multiple directions

  • Las Vegas officials have spoken about how rumors often circulate after a massacre and they are sure Stephen Paddock was the only assailant

“I want to emphasize we believe Paddock is solely responsible for this heinous act. We are aware of the rumors outside of the media and also on social media that there was more than one assailant. We have no information or evidence to support that theory or that rumor. We believe there was only one shooter and that was Stephen Paddock," Assistant Sheriff Todd Fasulo of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department told reporter on Monday, as reported by the New York Times.
