Tomi Lahren Is Being Slammed For Cultural Appropriation After She Posted A Video Rapping Along To 21 Savage's 'Bank Account'
2018 has just begun and it’s already giving us some pretty heavy headaches.
Just when we thought we left (political commentator?) Tomi Lahren in 2017, she’s still reminding us that she’s a thing, and an annoying one at that.
Lahren recently took to her Instagram Live story to post a selfie video of her rapping along to 21 Savage’s “Bank Account” in her car.
The trash interpretation of this is that she’s subliminally trying to extend somewhat of an olive branch to the African American community.
The correct take is that she remains a hater of Black people. Like, what makes this so strange is that she’s previously criticized hip-hop of a much lesser tone. 21 Savage fam? I mean we’re fans but he’s not exactly positivity rap.
Luckily, Twitter didn’t accept Tomi’s Black card application. Some pointed out that while white people like to criticize African Americans, they’ll still love their music and culture.
Others called out the hypocricy of her listening to 21 while trashing hip-hop in so many other instances.
Some people simply wanted 21 Savage to respond, in a non-supportive way...
*Face palm.*
