Maleah Davis’ Mother Believes 4-Year-Old Was Murdered And Dismembered By Ex-Fiance

Houston police continue their search for the girl, who's been missing for two weeks.

The Houston mother of missing 4-year-old Maleah Davis alleged, through her spokesperson, her ex-fiance killed her daughter.

While speaking with local station KHOU, Brittany Bowens’ spokesperson, Quanell X, alleged Derion Vence murdered and dismembered the young girl because he was furious about their breakup.

“Many people did not know that he dismembered this beautiful baby,” Quanell X told KHOU.

Quanell X went on to say Maleah was killed and cut into pieces at the home Bowens shared with Vence.

“Why would human body tissue be in the drain system? Why would human body tissue be under the pipes in the sink, in the pipes under the bathtub, why would that be?” Quanell X said in reference to the blood found in Vence’s apartment bathroom.

  • Quanell also alleged that Vence retaliated with murder after Bowens called off their engagement. According to Quanell, Bowens discovered that Vence sent explicit photos of his genitals to another man.

Before Bowens went out of town on April 30, she argued with Vence about the photos and accused him of being gay.

“She told him that she was giving back his ring and that she was not going to marry him,” Quanell told the local news station.

Vence has since been arrested and charged with tampering with evidence, specifically a human corpse. Houston police say he could also face murder charges.

Although Bowens does not believe her daughter is still alive, police have continued their search for the girl.

An anonymous tip sent to the Texas EquuSearch led search teams to a haunted house in Brazoria County.

The team combed through the Creepy Hollow Haunted House and surrounding areas for two hours on May 14, reported Click2Houston.

  • Maleah Davis has not been found.
