This year for Father’s Day, former President Barack Obama decided to spend it on a beautiful French vacation with his three favorite women.

Now that Sasha, 18, has graduated from high school, the entire family took a week-long vacation that kicked off with a trip to the historical city of Avignon, France. On Saturday afternoon, Malia, 20, and her sister were seen doing some shopping and sightseeing in the city with two of their friends at the L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue Market.

Sasha And Malia Obama Spotted In France!! (Pics) #EntertainmentNews #maliaobama #sashaobama Malia and Sasha Obama, daughters to Michelle and Barack Obama, were seen strolling through a French market in the tiny village of Isle sur Sorgue, close to Avignon France. The former First Daughters are on vacation with the parents Barack and Michelle for a week.Sasha recently graduated from high school, and is planning to take a year off from school, before attending the University Of Michigan next year.Malia has been photographed extensively by the paparazzi over the past few years, so the paps didn't seem to bother her. But Sasha, who is just 17 years old, was definitely taken aback by the intrusive photographers.Barack's youngest daughter tried her best to hide her face from the cameras. But the persistent paparazzi just kept snapping pics of the teen girl. Here are the pics:Malia wore a black denim jacket over a black button-front shirt with white embroidery and high-waisted shorts. On her feet, the 20-year-old had on trendy Dr. Martens boots — a shoe style that’s been approved by “it” girls aplenty (including another pair of famous sisters: Bella and Gigi Hadid). She carried a brownish-red bag and wore her hair in long braids going down her back.Meanwhile, Sasha, 18, wore an outfit that looked as if it’d been plucked straight from the racks of Urban Outfitters. The newly anointed high school graduate had on an oversized green jacket layered over a white shirt and lightwash mom jeans. For shoes, Sasha went with white Nike Air Force 1 high-tops, proving that the white sneaker trend isn’t going anywhere. The teen topped off her look with a leopard-print bucket hat (both animal prints and the ’90s throwback hats are in vogue). Later on in the evening, the entire family joined Barack at La Mirande, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Avignon for a Father’s Day private dinner with friends.

  3. Also on Sunday, Michelle posted a touching tribute to Barack on Instagram and Twitter accompanied by a throwback photo of him and their daughters.

  4. “Pretty grateful for this guy. Happy Father’s Day!" read Mrs. Obama’s short and sweet caption to her husband.

According to Le Parisien, the Obama family is staying at the Le Mas des Poiriers, a luxurious 18th-century farmhouse on Bathelasse Island that sits on 65 acres of land.

The family was most recently seen together celebrating Sasha during her graduation from the prestigious Sidwell Friends in Washington, D.C., last week.
