Sen. Kamala Harris Encouraging A Little Girl To Keep Her Chin Up Will Make Your Day
California Senator and Democratic presidential hopeful Kamala Harris has been busy on the campaign trail and made a stop in Las Vegas last Saturday (June 15).
After a speech she gave to supporters, she met two young girls named Maya and Jasmine. As Harris asked them for their names, Maya looked down at the ground. Putting her hand under the girl’s chin, Harris said, “You always keep that head up, you hear me? You always hold that chin up.”
As if the moment couldn’t be more beautiful, Jasmine can be heard telling Harris, “If you don’t make it, I’ll take your place.”
The video was published to Kamala Harris’ Instagram Story on Friday (June 21), but it went viral on Twitter shortly after.
