Trump’s Latest Twitter Rant Targets ‘Filthy Mouthed’ Chrissy Teigen And ‘Boring’ John Legend

The president slammed the singer, who was part of the final installment of Lester Holt’s “Justice For All” series, for not giving him credit for his criminal justice reform.

Chrissy Teigen, the model, author and social media influencer, was once again the target of a Trump Twitter rant.

“Guys like boring musician @johnlegend and his filthy mouthed wife,” Trump tweeted Sunday night in reference to Legend’s interview during Lester Holt’s final installment of MSNBC’s “Justice For All” series, which focuses on the criminal justice system.

Trump was apparently peeved the EGOT winner didn’t praise the criminal justice reform bill he signed into law in December.  Trump tweeted, “no one else did, & Republicans deserve much credit.”

“When all the people pushing so hard for Criminal Justice Reform were unable to come even close to getting it done, they came to me as a group and asked for help. I got it done with a group of Senators & others who would never have gone for it. Obama couldn’t come close…,” he also tweeted.

“....A man named @VanJones68, and many others, were profusely grateful (at that time!). I SIGNED IT INTO LAW, no one else did, & Republicans deserve much credit. But now that it is passed, people that had virtually nothing to do with it are taking the praise. Guys like boring…..” he went on to tweet

He continued, “....musician @johnlegend, and his filthy mouthed wife, are talking now about how great it is - but I didn’t see them around when we needed help getting it passed. “Anchor” @LesterHoltNBC doesn’t even bring up the subject of President Trump or the Republicans when talking about….”

He added, “.....the importance or passage of Criminal Justice Reform. They only talk about the minor players, or people that had nothing to do with it...And the people that so desperately sought my help when everyone else had failed, all they talk about now is Impeaching President Trump!”

The First Step Act he was referring to allows prisoners to get more days removed from their sentences for good behavior. After it was signed, 2,200 inmates were freed under the terms of the new law.

Legend responded to Trump’s Twitter tantrum Sunday with a bid for Melania to step in and help.

“Imagine being president of a whole country and spending your Sunday night hate-watching MSNBC hoping somebody--ANYBODY--will praise you,” the singer tweeted. “Melania, please praise this man. He needs you.”

Moments later, Legend added, “Your country needs you, Melania.”

The “Glory” singer took part in Sunday night’s report to discuss the work he’s done for criminal justice reform through his organization Free America.

Teigen thought Trump’s remarks were especially comical since she was not a part of the special or even mentioned in it. Yet he still made it a point to lash out at her, too.

“Lol what a p**** a** b****,” Teigen tweeted. “Tagged everyone but me. An honor, mister president.”

“The absolute best part of his tweet is I literally didn’t speak in the special, nor was I mentioned,” she added. “I’m cackling at the pointless addition of me because he cannot not be a b****”

Now Teigen, and a candid hashtag, are trending.

“No guys no please do not make this trend, for it is my fight with #PresidentP****A**B****, not yours!!!!!!” she tweeted to her 11.5 million followers.
