The premiere of Being Mary Jane excited a lot of fans of the show, inlcuding the internet's Funky Dineva, who confirmed, "Quiet as it's kept, I'm like Mary Jane. I left my foolish, ho-ish ways in 2016."
There's a lot of talk about how MJ handled herself in the season 4 premiere, with her having a one night stand with a man, Lee, who she eventually interviews the next day on live TV.
Funky Dineva completely co-signs Mary Jane's behavior, adding, "At least if you gon' be a ho, you better be a ho for a Black Mandingo warrior."
This begs the question, though: Can professional women be promiscuous and keep their respectability politics intact?
