Two of our favorite ladies in the fashion industry won big at award shows last night. Winnie Harlow received the Editor's Award at the Glamour UK Awards, while Pat McGrath, literal queen of face beat, was awarded the prestigious Founder's Award at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards.
Winnie was honored for the way in which her skin has changed beauty standards in the industry. You can watch her acceptance speech above, which she dedicated to her best friend, Shannon Hamilton, who was in the audience.
Pat, an industry veteran, was honored for her truly revolutionary work as a makeup artist. Previously named "the most influential makeup artist in the world" by Vogue, she has also received an honor from the Queen of England and has had her work with Givenchy put on display in a museum.
Now that's #BlackGirlMagic on full display. Congrats, ladies!
