Do blondes really have more fun? The Shots Fired actress Sanaa Lathan was certainly ready to find out over the weekend.
Sanaa decided to switch it up on the heels of her upcoming Netflix film (which she’s also producing), Nappily Ever After, based on Trisha R. Thomas’s hilarious novel. We can’t wait to see the story brought to life on the small screen, but in the meantime, we are living for this hair transformation.
Sanaa gave fans a sneak peek at the process over the weekend on her IG stories. Of course, she entrusted celebrity hairstylist Kiyah Wright to get her color right.
As you can imagine, it’s not a game transitioning from dark brown to honey blonde. But with clients like Tyra Banks, Grace Byers, Sevyn Streeter, Jennifer Hudson, and many others, Sanaa was in great hands working with the Muze Hair founder.
We have a feeling this will be one of many hair transformations she has up her sleeve. Celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims (who also works with Gabrielle Union, Zendaya, SZA, and Tracey Ellis Ross) gave us a sneak peek of the film’s epic wig closet.
All these hair makeovers got us feeling like....
