She sings, she cooks, and now cuts?
Last night, Kelis hit the ‘gram to debut a fresh, new style that, drumroll please, she cut herself. Of course, like most Black women would, she begs her hairstylist, Maisha Oliver, not to “freak out.” LOL!
See the bathroom confessional below for yourself:
Kelis admits her love for color and bleach has taken a toll on her strands. So, she grabbed a pair of scissors and got to work. In total, she cut off about an inch-and-a-half.
In the second video, she admits “It’s not Vidal Sassoon moment, but it will do." The busy mom of two executed her new look in between nap time (smart woman!) so she wouldn’t be interrupted. Apparently, she did this all before catching a flight!
We love how Kelis doesn’t take herself too seriously — and admits that she’ll be visiting Maisha for a professional cut soon. In the singer's own words: wepa!
