America's not doing so hot right about now. We went ahead and pissed mother nature off, which, we have on good authority, caused her to unleash a wrath of natural disasters on us, including earthquakes and multiple historic hurricanes. Our government is a dumpster fire that shows no signs of being extinguished or improved in the near future.
So what better time than the present to adjust our focus to across the pond, where the grass is far greener. Rihanna is there and she's blessed us with a 'fit that, after a mere first glance, we knew would go down in our hall of fame of RiRi's best looks.
We're fully aware that England already has their own royal family and stuff, but come on. Look at her! Rihanna does the Disney princess look better than a real princess even could (no shade to Kate Middleton!).
Wearing Chopard jewels (including a breathtaking giant, heart-shaped diamond necklace) and a one-of-a-kind custom Molly Goddard gown, Rih showed up to Harvey Nichols, the London department store that will exclusively stock her line, to celebrate the UK launch of Fenty Beauty. We've mentioned Rih's tendency to engage in fashion diplomacy before. And by wearing UK native Goddard's designs, she followed suit last night.
This is not the first time RiRi's worn Goddard's designs — or gone full princess outfit. Shown below, the green dress on the left, which closely resembles the dress she wore last night, is also Goddard's work. Her pink look shown below was the work of Giambattista Valli, which we previously reported on.
There's no better way to promote your product than by having one of the world's most beloved figures use it. Luckily for Rihanna, she herself is the perfect test subject. Being that she was promoting Fenty Beauty, you already know the facebeat was crafted using expressly the products that are selling out everywhere.
We never thought we'd see purple highlighter work, but obviously Rihanna finds a way to not only make it werk, but make it look absolutely gorgeous. Below, you can see a breakdown of her look using Fenty products.
Just when we thought our stan-level devotion couldn't deepen any further, Rihanna crushed a cheeseburger while "Bodak Yellow" played in the background before letting out this genuine declaration: "It's bomb!"
This look is truly one for the books.
