ICYMI: Pyer Moss Took The People To Church With A Woke AF Fashion Show

Including a choir and Black models for days.

Pyer Moss debuted his AF FW18 Fashion show on Saturday (Feb 11) and to say the least, the show was woke AF.

Kicking the show off with a live choir, that performed throughout, guests were taken to church and got in the spirit earlier than expected. Although it’s never too early to go to church on ‘em. Models made their way down the runway, look after look, and outside of the music keeping its Black AF promises, so did the entire model lineup.

Diversity and inclusion at its utmost best. Ninety-eight percent of the models that walked the show were Black. We’re talking every variation of Black, from dark chocolate to milk to white.  It was all there. Hairstyles were also very diverse including dreads, fros, braids, straight, curly, etc. Don’t get us wrong, the fashions were good too, but we were extra here for every Black model that came down the runway.

We couldn’t help but pull an Issa … “we rooting for everybody Black.” Bravo, Pyer Moss!
