Cardi B visited Ellen yesterday (April 1) and chopped it up with the beloved talk show host about all things Baby Bardi related. The rapper is expecting her first child with her rapper-fiancé, Offset later this year and Cardi B fans everywhere can’t wait until there’s a mini her in the world. After gifting Cardi a baby version of the outfit she wears on her album cover, Invasion of Privacy, Ellen DeGeneres got down to business about potential baby names.
It seems like Offset has already picked out the name, but just like Ellen we want to put our guesses out in the universe in hopes that maybe we’re onto to something. Checkout our best Cardi B and Offset baby names below and let us know what you think!
Bacardi
Cardi B explained on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that she gets her rap moniker from the nickname "Bacradi" growing up in the Bronx. However, the liquor company would frequently flag her social media accounts for using the name so she winded up changing it to "Cardi B."
But since Bacardi recently showed her love by sending her a customized bottle, maybe she'll pass her original rapper name down. Baby Bardi has a nice ring to it, no?
Kiari Kendrell Cephus Jr.
Yes, this is Offset's real name and is unisex so can fit for a boy or a girl since Cardi is yet to announce the sex of the baby, although we're pretty sure it's a girl judging by the amount of girl items she's received.
This would follow the celeb trend of Teyana Taylor and more who have made their little girl's juniors, after their fathers.
Landing
Offset, Takeoff...Landing? No doubt Cardi has lots of love for her baby daddy's group, Migos because she constanty refers to them as her "brothers". So why wouldn't she follow suit and make her baby an honorary member with the unisex name destined for greatness.
Selena
Cardi announced her prganancy during her performance on Saturday Night Live with a very Selena Quintenilla inspired look. She's also refered to herself as the "Trap Selena" which was met with some backlash, but she cleared the air and said she's just a really big fan of the late Latina signer.
Maybe the tribute will come full circle?

It's no secret Cardi LOVES the Instagram famous brand, Fashion Nova. She constantly posts about it and even shouted them out on herr track, "She Bad." She recently annouced she'll be collaborating with them on her very own collection so this not far fetched.

Who else LOL'd at this Amazon commercial featuring Cardi B? She's definitly the star of the AD, which leads us to believe that if she has a little girl, "Alexa" could be a front-runner. OKURRRT!
Bronx
Cardi B is a New Yorker all the way! And not just any New Yorker either. She's a Bron native and reps the borough wherever she goes. "Bronx" as been used by a few celebs already so maybe it's on her radar.
