Who Is Kevin Hart?
Kevin Hart is an American comedian, actor and author. He was born July 6,1979 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Hart currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife, Eniko Hart, and his three children. He has appeared in more than 40 movies including two Jumanji features, The Secret Life of Pets, and Think Like A Man.
Kevin Hart got his start as a stand-up comic while still a teenager. He did local shows throughout his hometown of Philadelphia, but quickly booked gigs in surrounding areas such as Massachusetts. After building his confidence on local open-mic nights, he quit his day job and started pursuing his dreams at famous clubs like Caroline's in New York City and The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. Film roles eventually followed, including his onscreen debut in Roc-A-Fella film, Paper Planes in 2002 and Scary Movie 3 the following year.
Hart’s 2011, Kevin Hart: Laugh At My Pain, catapulted him into high-ranking Hollywood status after it set a record as the best performing concert series film, grossing $7 million while in theaters. After that success, Hart soared into superstardom landing numerous roles in feature films including cop comedy, Ride Along, co-starring Ice Cube in 2014 followed by a leading role in The Wedding Ringer in 2015, and Get Hard, opposite Will Ferrell that same year.

Kevin Hart has won more than a dozen awards including, one BET award for Best Actor for the stand-up comedy documentary, Kevin Hart: Laugh At My Pain in 2012, as well as three NAACP Image awards that same year for “Outstanding Comedy Series,” “Outstanding Actor In a Comedy Series,” for BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood, and for “Entertainer of the Year.”
Kevin Hart married his first wife, Torrie Hart, in 2003. The couple, who divorced in 2011, have joint custody of their two children Heaven (born 2005) and Hendrix (born 2007). Hart married model Eniko Parrish in 2016. The pair share one child, Kenzo Kash, and are expecting a baby girl in 2020.
