Petty Or Nah? Kenya Moore Threatens To Cancel Her Baby Shower Over Lack Of Gifts
Former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Kenya Moore is fed up with the lack of ‘etiquette’ of her family and friends.
The lack of support by those closest to the reality starlet has led her to consider canceling one of her most memorable days as a mother-to-be – her baby shower.
Moore schooled her family and friends on the proper way to accept an invitation in a now-deleted rant.
“#Etiquette101 if you cannot attended a monumental life canging event, it’s nice to send a gift anyway. Or it’s about class? It’s not about a dollar amount. It’s to show you care. The same way the person cared to invite you to share a moment in their life," she wrote.
“RSVP literally means RESPOND PLEASE in French. So if you get an invitation, respond with a yes or no if you will be attending,” she added.
Kenya Moore’s frustration seems pretty valid.
According to a registry obtained by Radar Online, only 7 of 73 items listed on Moore's registry were purchased by guests.
A source close to the reality star shared just how the lack of support has been affecting the expectant mom. “This is a big deal to her... She feels like those close to her have let her down. She’s beyond furious."
Back in April, Moore revealed that she and her husband, Marc Daly, were expecting their first child together. Moore has been extremely open about her fertility struggles, and conceiving via IVF.
