BET Awards 2025: Here Are The Preshow Performances You Might Have Missed

From the Queen Bee to 803Fresh, the BET Awards 2025 Preshow set off the mood for the night!

The BET Awards Preshow was straight fire and had nonstop good vibes before the main show even began. Honey Bxby popped out with Lil Kim, and the Ying Yang Twins brought the nostalgia we all know and love. It was a perfect mix alongside rising acts like Laila!, Jordan Adetunji, and 803Fresh, making it clear that the new generation is ready to take over.

If you missed it or just wanna run it back, we’ve got all the performances that had the crowd going crazy, so check them out below.

  • Honey Bxby x Lil' Kim - "Left Eye"

These two set the house on fire with their record, "Left Eye." The bridge between new school and old school works when you have two talents like Honey Bxby and Lil Kim. The summer anthems are off to a great start.

  • Shop Boyz - "Party Like A Rockstar"

Years later, we're still partying like rock stars. Shop Boyz pulled up and had us bopping our heads throughout this performance. We may need another single fellas.

  • Larry June - "Life Is Beautiful"

Life is beautiful when you're making feel-good music. Larry June hit the stage and gave us a great live performance of his hit, "Life Is Beautiful," so you might want to check this one out if you want to get a good start to your day.

  • Trillian - "10 PM in Miami" / "Show Me Your Love"

Now I may be a little bit late when it comes to the newer artists, but big cousin can get hip, too, and I'll be adding Trillian to the list. He popped out and delivered a stellar performance for this records, "10 PM in Miami" / "Show Me Your Love," and ate down.

  • Laila - "Not My Problem"

It's not her problem that she's a star, and the girls may not be able to take it. Laila! is carving out a lane for herself and is doing pretty well despite being a child of a megastar. I'll let you go and Google who it is, but watch this performance first.

  • Jordan Adetunji — "Kehlanl"

Despite pronouncing her name wrong, Jordan Adetunji did his big one with his record, "Kehlani," to the point where the singer herself had to hop on the remix. Although she didn't pop out with Adetunji for the live performance, it still had the crowd going crazy.

  • Spice and Moliy — A Medley

For the girls who know how to wine and do the head tops, this medley was for you. Spice and Moliy ate down, shaking it to the max and giving the crowd a good live performance of their singles we know and love.

  • Rob49 — WtHelly

Chile, this one has gone crazy on TikTok and finally made it to the stage for the preshow. Rob49 has a hit on his hands as we head into the summer, so it was only right he graced the BET Awards and turnt up with the LA crowd.

  • Gelo — "Booted Up"

Again, here's another artist that big cousin is getting used to... but he had me "booted up" throughout the performance. So take a look as Gelo kills the stage.

  • 803Fresh - "Boots On The Ground"

Them boots stood on the ground during his performance, as 803Fresh had the fans going crazy. No question about "where them fans at" as they were out and loud and proud during this one.

  • Mario — Medley Of Hits

From "Break Up" to "Let Me Love You," Mario knows exactly how to bring us those early 2000s vibes with the records we know and love. Mario delivered a stellar live performance from his catalog, and it reminded us why we love him.

  • Ying Yang Twins - "Whisper"

Despite the title, nobody whispered when the Ying Yang Twins popped out on stage. If you don't know the Ying Yang Twins, we can't have a conversation. Watch this performance and see why fans still go crazy when they pop out.
