Watch: CNN Host Emotionally Goes in on Guest For Saying N-Word on Air
During a live broadcast of anchor Brooke Baldwin's show on CNN, tensions mounted between her and Charles Kaiser, an author and blogger.
During Tuesday's show, Baldwin was shocked when Kaiser said the N-word to make a point
While criticizing Donald Tump's appointment of Steve Bannon, Kaiser said, “If you don’t want support of the alt right, don’t choose as a White House counselor a man who used the word ‘nigger,’ whose wife says he did not want his daughters to go to a school with too many Jews…”
Baldwin immediately jumped in and condemned Kaiser for using that word on her show
“Charles, hold on a second. I appreciate you going through all of this, but please don’t use the n-word on my show," said Baldwin.
“I’m sorry,” Kaiser responded. “I never use the n-word except when I’m quoting someone who has been appointed by the president to serve in the Oval Office, since this is such a disgusting moment in our history.”
Later on, Baldwin tearfully restated how 'not OK' it is for someone to use that word on her show

Immediately after the segment, people on Twitter applauded Baldwin for holding someone she respects accountable for his actions
WHile others believe use of the word may be needed to make a valid argument
After the show, Baldwin took to Twitter to put one final nail in the coffin
Was it appropriate for Baldwin to shut down Kaiser, or should we start allowing the news to get uncomfortable in an effort not to normalize Trump and his team?
