André 3000 Publicizes Search for Missing Notebook

The ‘New Blue Sun’ artist has gone to great lengths to recover his two-toned hardcover notebook.

André 3000 desperately wants his notebook back.

Last week, reports surfaced that posters around Amsterdam requested the safe return of the rapper’s notebook, a “blue two-toned hardcover.” The poster also reads that the notebook was last seen in Amsterdam on March 29. “Black sketches and notes inside,” the poster reads. One of the sketches is a black-and-white drawing of a mouse named “Ricky Rattan,” who can double for an unfinished version of Mickey Mouse.

For those with updates on the notebook and its possible retrieval, they’re asked to contact missing@amyriadofpyramids.com. The email address can also be found on the notebook’s website and Instagram page.

Fans have speculated that the missing notebook posters are promotion for André’s next album, which his rep denied in an update to Stereogum. While Andre confirmed last year that he’s readying a new album slated to release this year, fans can hold themselves over on his Grammy-nominated debut solo album, New Blue Sun.

Hopefully, the notebook arrives in time for the OutKast member to enjoy his 50th birthday on May 27. Until then, André 3000 will have plenty of time to celebrate as part of the 2025 Met Gala committee on May 5th and new Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee as one-half of OutKast along with Big Boi.
