The estimated cost of the royal wedding is in, and social media is losing it!

Vogue Australia recently released how much the nuptials between Prince Harry and the Dutchess Meghan Markle may have cost and, as expected, the price was high.

Their official budget breakdown: $39.1 million.

The estimated total is a long list including the venue, catering, cake, floristry, the wedding dress, and security which, cost a whopping $35.8 million.

While many are in shock over the mega expense of the royal affair, one price tag is standing out above all others: the cost of beauty! 

Turns out, although Meghan chose to keep her makeup simple to show off her signature freckles and her hair in a messy bun, the total price of hair and makeup was $13,895.

When these numbers were released, Twitter exploded with thoughts about the beauty expense, including many who felt the royal family was overcharged. 

TBH: While indeed the pricing is high for an average wedding, this is a royal wedding. It was not just the bride’s makeup and hair that was done, the entire wedding party used the glam squad!
