'Sistas' Season 10 Opens With Explosions, Secrets, and a Life Hanging in the Balance

The milestone season kicks off with Andi’s car blowing up, family drama moving in uninvited, and a shocking reveal about Sabrina’s disappearance that leaves everyone reeling.

"Tyler Perry’s Sistas" Season 10 is officially underway, and as expected, this milestone season wastes no time delivering chaos. The opener picks up right where things left off—with Andi’s car exploding. She survives, but the incident immediately raises alarms, and the group begins to suspect Dr. Cruz may be behind it. The message is clear: everyone needs to watch their back.

Another major concern throughout the episode is Sabrina’s sudden disappearance. She hasn’t been answering her phone and never showed up for her shift at the bank, prompting Maurice to lead the charge to figure out where she is. More on that in a minute.

Meanwhile, Andi tries to regain some sense of normalcy, only to walk into a new mess at home. She learns that her younger sister, Shyanne, has moved in—courtesy of their mother. Now Andi is living with both her mom and her sister, a decision made entirely without her input. Shyanne plans to stay indefinitely after relocating to Atlanta, which is a problem considering the sisters barely get along. Their mother hopes they can work through their issues, especially as she undergoes chemotherapy and reminds them how unpredictable life—and cancer—can be.

Elsewhere, Tony stops by Danni’s place to check on her after the cookout and to talk things through. Danni admits that what happened between her and Marcus was a mistake—which is true, but not nearly enough to calm Tony down. He feels betrayed, and his anger is justified. Before they can get any real resolution, the conversation is interrupted by the phone call everyone has been dreading.

Sabrina never made it to the cookout because she was involved in a serious car accident. She’s now in critical condition, in a coma, and doctors aren’t sure if she’s going to survive.
