Lizzo had a very happy holiday as she revealed the gift she received by one of her idols.

On Sunday (December 25), the superstar singer, who is also a classically trained flutist, posted a clip to her instagram showing flutist Sir James Galway wishing her a merry Christmas.

The video shows Galway in front of a Christmas tree playing holiday music on his flute. He then wishes Lizzo a happy holiday, saying he’s ner “number one fan.”

In a subsequent clip, Lizzo is seen crying in reaction to the video message almost in disbelief.

Back in 2019, during an interview with CBS News, Lizzo described leaning to play the flute in 5th grade and listening obsessively to Galway’s “The Man with the Golden Flute.” She also described herself as a “band geek.”
