Passengers Support Porsha Williams in Viral Airplane Dispute Caught on Police Footage

Witness statements contradict allegations made against the TV personality as federal authorities review the incident.

Porsha Williams was accompanied by police as she exited her flight from Las Vegas to Atlanta on Sunday (Nov. 16), and now there’s body camera footage showing passengers coming to her defense, according to a report by People

According to the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star’s attorney, Joe Habachy, the tension began long before officers met the plane at the gate.

In a statement to People, he said the Bravolebrity was “verbally assaulted by an irate and unhinged passenger without provocation.”

He added that the woman later made “false allegations” that conflicted with what multiple witnesses reported seeing on board. As with any in-air disturbance, federal authorities must investigate “all parties” to determine whether any actual offenses occurred.

The Atlanta Police Department’s bodycam begins with Williams, who appears very calm, giving her account to the responding officer.

As she begins explaining what happened, two separate travelers walk by and instinctively check on her. One woman, who’d been seated nearby, didn’t mince words.

“I was there,” she told the former Dish Nation host, apologizing on behalf of the chaos she witnessed.

“What I heard was reprehensible… the woman got in your face and gave you the middle finger.” Williams asked for her information, and moments later, another passenger approached, saying he observed the interaction from two rows back.

“She did not touch that lady,” he emphasized.

He went on to explain that there was no physical altercation at all — just an argument that escalated after, in his words, the other passenger “got really animated and started screaming.” The only physical movement he noticed from Williams, he said, was a pointed finger as she told the woman not to speak to her that way.

Once the witnesses stepped away, the entrepreneur recounts her version of the clash. She said the tension started when the woman told her to stop playing an Instagram video out loud before calling her a “b*tch.”

From there, the singer said the insults escalated with, “Who the f*ck do you think you are?” prompting her to ask flight attendants to move the woman away.

Instead, she said, the passenger tried to start recording their exchange and suddenly accused Williams of hitting her. “Oh my God. I’m pressing charges. I want you to be in jail,” she allegedly shouted.

Williams admitted to being upset in the moment, telling the woman, “Get your ugly a** out of here.”

Eventually, flight attendants relocated the woman to the first-class cabin as they tried to calm her down.

The police footage then cuts to the other passenger giving her own statement,  a version that dramatically diverged from what witnesses recalled.

She claimed the plane was taking off during the incident and the crew couldn’t intervene “because they had to be buckled in.”

She alleged that after asking Williams to turn off her audio “for 25 minutes,” the star put her fingernail near her eye and knocked the phone out of her hand.

In a moment that raised eyebrows even on camera, she told the officer she feared the Bravo personality would “have me killed.”

Police said they were called to the gate about a dispute and found “two females” involved in a possible “verbal” altercation.

Both were separated and interviewed. Officers forwarded the witness statements to the FBI.
