Porsha Williams Says She’s Seeing a Man and a Woman After Divorce
Porsha Williams isn’t letting divorce slow her down as she’s back outside and open to new possibilities.
During her appearance at CultureCon while on a panel, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star revealed that she’s dating two people: a man and a woman.
“I’ve narrowed it down to two — he’s nice and she is nice,” she told the crowd, to which you can hear an immediate "Whoa" from crowd members, with one shouting, “Do both.”
The crowd’s reaction clearly didn’t throw Porsha off. If anything, it opened the door for her to get real about her emotional state.
She admitted that dating after divorce has forced her to reflect on her own patterns.
“I really just wanted to make sure that these were normal people,” she explained.
“And what I talked about to my therapist the other day was I’m having a hard time opening up because they’re not narcissists.”
She went on to unpack what that means for her growth, saying, “And guess what narcissists do? They love bomb you, they look perfect, they mirror you. These people are not. They’re challenging me, they’re asking me questions, they’re not letting me walk over them.”
For the entrepreneur, that kind of balance is new territory, which pushes her to evolve.
“They aren’t just doing what they need to do to get into the relationship,” she said.
“I’m not feeling safe enough to open yet. What I have to do is realize if you want something, you have to also be different. I have to soften up a bit. I have to not expect a lot of elaborate things. I have to expect someone to call me out from time to time.”
BET.com reported earlier this summer that the reality star took a moment to address the misconceptions surrounding her marriage to Simon Guobadia, clearing the air about what really went down.
“People really thought it was fake!” she said, shaking her head. “They thought I was just in it for the money, and none of our love was really real.”
She explained that she genuinely believed in the relationship and had high hopes for what fans would see on screen.
“I know the fans, they were excited to see Porsha Guobadia on 'Housewives,'” she continued. “You think I wasn't excited about bringing Porsha Guobadia and Simon Guobadia from Instagram to "Real Housewives?" Of course! We were going to have so much fun, and we were preparing for it together and all that! But life happened.”
Ultimately, life did happen, and change came with it. Williams finalized her divorce from Guobadia in June 2025.
