LeBron James Passed Michael Jordan as the NBA's All-Time Playoff Scoring Leader
On the same night that saw LeBron James punching his ticket to his seventh consecutive NBA Finals, he also passed Michael Jordan as the NBA's all-time playoff scoring leader.
In scoring 35 points to lead his Cleveland Cavaliers to a 135-102 win over the Boston Celtics in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference Finals, James jumped over the GOAT's mark of 5,987 playoff points to become the league's all-time postseason scoring leader.
"For my name to come up in the discussion with the greatest basketball player of all time," James told ESPN after the game, "it's like, 'Wow.'"
And fans were there for it, pulling up on Twitter with a wave of reactions.

As great as becoming the new playoff scoring leader is, James has a lot more to do to surpass MJ — namely catching up to Jordan's six rings. He'll have his chance for four titles, if he could lead his Cavs over the Golden State Warriors in their NBA Finals trilogy beginning next week.
But LeBron fans were quick to clap back with reasons of their own
