Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors Plan to Grow Their Family

The couple shares their excitement about having children while navigating the aftermath of Jonathan’s legal issues and career setbacks.

Meagan Good is ready to take the next step with her husband Jonathan Majors and start a family together. The couple, who officially tied the knot in March, has been in the spotlight lately—not just for their relationship but also for what’s next on their journey.

At Lifetime’s Summer Soirée on July 16, Good opened up to Us Weekly about her readiness to have kids with Majors. She didn’t hold back when she told US Weekly, “I’m definitely ready for kids now.” But it’s more than just timing—it’s about who she’s ready to do it with. “When your partner is someone you’re genuinely excited to share this with, who’s already showing he’s a phenomenal father, it just feels right to build that life together.”

Majors already has a 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, and the couple shares their home with four dogs. But Good says they’re looking to add two more children to their family mix. Her role as Camille in Harlem recently included an onscreen pregnancy, and that experience pushed Good to realize she’s “super ready” to embrace motherhood for real. She describes married life with Majors as “pretty amazing,” a fresh chapter full of love and growth.

The two were together for two years before walking down the aisle, and through it all, Good stayed supportive during Majors’ legal battles. He faced domestic violence charges brought by ex Grace Jabbari and was convicted of misdemeanor assault and harassment. The case also affected his career; he was dropped from several projects, including his highly anticipated role as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Majors spoke out about the fallout in March on The Breakfast Club, revealing that Good lost endorsements and was even disinvited from some events just for standing by him. Despite the drama, the couple is focused on moving forward—building their family and their future together.
