Nicki Minaj Addresses Cousin's Death, Losing a Baby on 'All Things Go'

YMCMB rapper pours out her soul on opening track on The PinkPrint.

Up until now, most of what we’ve heard from The PinkPrint album has been less heart-wrenching than what Nicki Minaj has to offer with “All Things Go,” produced by Boi-1da, Vinylz and Alen Ritter

Co-written by Ester Dean, the YMCMB rapper pours out a bit of her soul in the opening track from her forthcoming album. She rhymes about career goals, losing a baby 16 years ago, her relationship (if the lyrics are accurate, those engagement rumors may have been true), and the death of her cousin Nicholas Telemaque in 2011. “I lost my little cousin to a senseless act of violence," raps Minaj. "His sister said he wanted to stay with me but I didn’t invite him/ Why didn’t he ask, or am I just buggin’? ‘Cuz since I got fame, they don’t act the same, even though they know that I love them.”

“All Things Go” comes as a free download for fans who pre-order The PinkPrint on iTunes. The album comes out Dec. 15.
