Video Shows Fugees Wyclef Jean Accidentally Dropping Corporate Executive On His Head At After-Party

The legendary rapper was hired to entertain partygoers, as the Fugees’ big 25th Anniversary Tour looms on the horizon

Fugees rapper Wyclef Jean was hired to entertain corporate party goers on Monday (Nov. 15). Everyone was having a good time when it all came tumbling down.

Footage initially reported by TMZ shows the hip hop legend singing and dancing with a man hoisted on his shoulders. This took place during an after-party following the one-day Range Rover Leadership Summit at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.

When Jean bends down to gently let the man down, he tumbles to the dance floor. The gray-bearded man in the suit turned out to be Joe Eberhardt, the president and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover North America.

Fortunately, it appears that Eberhardt wasn’t seriously injured. The CEO left the party after his fall, but the festivities continued.

The Fugees, which also consists of Ms. Lauryn Hill and Pras Michel, postponed an important tour that was supposed to start on Nov. 2 in Chicago.

The trio’s official Instagram account stated, “Dates for our upcoming Fugees 25th Anniversary Tour are moving to early 2022 to ensure the best chance that all cities on the tour will be fully open so we can perform for as many fans as possible.”
