Karamo Brown Opens About Son’s Overdose

The talk show host reveals that he found his son dying on the floor in the next episode of ‘Karamo.’

Karamo Brown is opening up for the first time about his son’s drug overdose that occured just two years ago.

In the upcoming Thursday (Oct. 27) episode of his talk show Karamo, the 41-year-old reveals that he found his son Jason lying on the floor, dying from a drug overdose.

“I was terrified. I was about to lose my son. I didn't know what to do. I was in shock,” he told audience members.

Jason, 25, will join his dad to talk about his drug use, what he remembers from that horrific day and how he is doing now.

Karamo airs on stations including WPIX New York, KTLA Los Angeles, WCIU Chicago, WPHL Philadelphia, WATL Atlanta, WLVI Boston, WKCF Orlando, WSVN Miami and WJW Cleveland, among others.

Brown is part of the Fab Five on Queer Eye, and works alongside Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France and Bobby Berk, on the Emmy award-winning series which streams on Netflix.
