Gunna, Self-Proclaimed ‘Drip’ Phenom, Is Ready To Claim The Throne As ATL’s Next Best Rapper

It's his hustle that's securing his spot as a household name.

As the prodigy of trap icon Young Thug, the bar was set high for budding star Gunna. The College Park native spent almost a year locked up and met with his mentor through Keith Troup, their late, mutual friend. After zoning in heavily on music, Thugger and Gunna collaborated on "Floyd Mayweather," off his Jeffrey project. Coming off the high of his success, the 25-year-old granted fans access into his utter obsession with "drip" culture with his debut, Drip Season. He blessed fans with riveting follow ups, but it wasn't until Drip Season 3 and his string of features that secured his spot as a household name in hip-hop.

Garnering co-signs from superstars like Travis Scott and Future, the "Drip Too Hard" emcee dropped a full project with fellow ATL phenom Lil Baby with a guest feature from Drake, himself. Amid the skyrocketing triumph, Gucci Mane even offered him a $1 million deal via Twitter, soulful crooner Frank Ocean used his hits on his video game and the Astroworld emcee gifted him a spot on tour. However, fans need to understand he isn't living in anyone's shadow. Gunna is using his hustle, "drip" and support to ensure worldwide fame.
