Why Was Phaedra Parks’s Crazy Stalker Trying to Get Revenge?

A man threatened the Real Housewives star with a bomb.

In one of the scariest instances of celebrity stalking we've ever heard, a man claiming to have a bomb strapped to his leg went in search of Phaedra Parks in Atlanta's Lenox Plaza on Thursday. But why would someone risk their own life and prison time to inflict harm on the Real Housewives of Atlanta star?

Well, turns out the deranged fan, whose name is Terrence Cook, isn't a stranger to Phaedra after all. He claims to be a former client of the lawyer/manager.

Sources close to Cook, who goes by the stage name Drama, tell TMZ that Parks managed his music career back in 2000, before she became a Housewife. She was also his lawyer in a 2003 robbery case before she was removed as counsel. Cook served 12 years in prison for that case.

When he was released in 2015, he told friends he was going to Miami to shoot some scenes with Phaedra for Real Housewives of Atlanta. Of course, that never happened, but while in Florida, Cook suffered a nearly fatal skydiving accident. He had been in recovery for the past year, but apparently decided that Phaedra is to blame for his prison sentence, his failing rap career and now the skydiving incident, and he wanted revenge.
Though Cook showed up to an office building where he thought Phaedra worked yesterday (turns out, he got the wrong one) and told everyone he had a bomb strapped to his leg, police later determined that he did not.
Chilling.
And that's not the only drama the Belle has to deal with. Check out the latest on her estranged husband Apollo Nida's prison sentence on Wendy Williams, above.
