Little Girls Go Viral for Dancing in ‘Church Heels’ During Shoe Shopping Trip
What started as a casual shoe-shopping errand turned into a viral sensation for the Kearney family.
Taylor and Xavier Kearney were browsing a store with their three daughters when their simple mission to buy shoes took an unexpected and joyful turn.
Once their daughter Braylon slipped on a pair of sparkly “church heels,” she couldn’t help but break into dance, gliding down the aisle with pure confidence. Her younger sister McKinley quickly followed, turning the store into their personal runway as employees cheered them on.
“It was really my husband’s doing,” Taylor told PEOPLE. “He found the shoes and knew my daughter would go crazy. As soon as she put them on, she started dancing, and I immediately started recording because it was just hilarious.”
The TikTok clip has now captured the hearts of over three million TikTok users.
Taylor says she had no idea it would take off the way it did. “I record a lot of our moments, whether I post them or not,” she explained. “But I thought, ‘Nobody would believe me if I told them about this,’ so I decided to share it.”
Xavier’s lighthearted energy often sets the tone in their household. “When I come home from work, I’m always sneaking up on the kids or doing something silly,” he shared. “I have a great sense of humor.”
Taylor added, “I’m usually the serious one, but with Xavier around, it’s impossible not to laugh. Even when I try to discipline them, they’re still being goofy.”
“Our home was built on grace, sustained by faith and fueled by hope,” Taylor said. Fittingly, their daughters’ middle names are Grace, Faith, and Hope.
