The season five premiere of Starz' currently most successful series, Power, was met with some spirited responses from viewers who were left with a few untied ends during the conclusion of last season's cliffhanger.
With the story picking up where it left off, fans' rage for one particular character only intensified, with some even calling for his death.
The character who's universally loathed is none other than the bratty and stubborn Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.), son of the show's protagonist, James "Ghost" St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick).
After it was revealed during season four's conclusion that he ultimately led his sister to her untimely death, Twitter's tolerance for him hit an all-time low, and his attitude and actions in the season five premiere didn't help rectify his "image."
