As Mother's Day continues today (May 14), our timelines are appropriately being flooded with posts paying tribute to the mothers in our lives.

Countless celebrities are taking to Instagram to share sweet tributes to their moms, wives, sisters and grandmothers in honor of the annual holiday.

Some messages were truly sweet, such as John Legend's heartwarming shout out to his wife Chrissy Teigen, while others were too funny, such as Nicki Minaj referring to her beautiful mother, Carol Maraj, as "lookin like a snack" in the gorgeous photo she shared.

Russell Wilson also shared a post honoring his wife, Ciara, with this year's Mother's Day marking their first together since welcoming their baby girl, Sienna, late last month.
