Love is in the air for actress Monyetta Shaw and now husband, Heath Carter. The lovely couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Atlanta over the weekend surrounded by family and friends. The bride looked stunning in a blush ball gown, while her beau wore a traditional white and black tuxedo. 

Monyetta is quite the fashionista and changed into a second look donning a sexy silver beaded gown and bob hairstyle to match her blushing bridesmaids, who wore shimmering champagne gowns. 

Monyetta was previously engaged to singer Ne-Yo, with whom she shares daughter Madilyn, 10, and son Mason, 9. Who serenaded his mom with a song by Luther Vandross during the wedding reception. How sweet! 

Although Monyetta had her tubes tied in the past, she told Us Weekly in an interview that she and Heath have discussed the possibility of bringing another child into their brood of four. At the time, she said she was still contemplating the decision.

“It comes up in our conversations a lot. Because he has two girls and he wants a boy. And I’m like, ‘OK. Yeah. So now it’s getting real,'” she said. “So we are discussing things, and I’m deciding now, honestly. And I’m getting older … I just turned a big 4-0. So we’re going to have to figure some things out.”

While the couple is thinking of expanding their family, they enjoyed a night filled with love and laughter during their wedding. 

Celebrity friends such as T.I. and Tiny Harris were in attendance, along with their dear friends, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker.

Kandi and her beau Todd wore show-stopping fashions. The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars were regal in their gold and champagne attire. The crowd danced the night away and even enjoyed a performance by R&B crooner RL. 

Toya Johnson served as a bridesmaid and enjoyed the kiss cam with her man Red Rushing. It looks like love was indeed in the air!
