Court documents cite that Rock —who welcomed her first son in September 2023 with rapper Blueface– struck Chanel backstage at a concert in November 2023 that resulted him in having face lacerations and broken teeth.

According to Chanel, the incident occurred after he told Rock she was only supposed to join the stage for the twerk portion of the show. At the time, the rapper was not in the properly designated area. After that, Rock allegedly hit Chanel multiple times with her hand while wearing "large champion-style rings."

Following the incident, Chanel went to the hospital and consulted with a dentist and plastic surgeon.

Along with assault, battery, and emotional distress, Chanel is also seeking recompense for his medical bills and other damages.

Braxton took to Instagram after the alleged incident and said that Rock began "traumatizing" Chanel backstage.

"Justice for James," she wrote in the caption of the post.

“He got assaulted at my show, and it was by Chrisean,” the “Braxton Family Values” star declared.

Rock has not responded to Wright's lawsuit.
